I took a road trip to ocean side ca from Idaho and want to try the beach detecting... Does anyone know where I could get a sand scoop here in oceanside or close...

I looked through the sponsoring dealers here on Findmall and didn't see any located in that area. But doing a quick online search, I see that there is a metal detecting club there in Oceanside. (N.C. Gold Prospectors & Metal Detectors Club) You might contact them and see if there is a local place where they buy their gear. Maybe you could even borrow one from one of the members, if you're only going to be there a short time. Good luck on the beach! HH Randy
