It came like a flash this morning while I was making coffee That's the way they always come!
So I popped out to the shed and found several Coffee cans. The Kirkland's was the stiffest, a 3 pounder. Bringing it in the kitchen, I turned it bottom up and used the electric can opener on it. Next, I looked down through the new opening and......YES, there's the new bottom, a big lip all away around the "new" can bottom. This afternoon, I'm going out to OSH and buy a handle to fit on the side and a piece of plumber's cloth to cut into a circle to slide down in the can to the lip. A dab or two of JB Kwick will keep it there. If you worry about tiny ear rings or stick pins, then buy plumber's cloth fine enough that those things won't go through the cloth. I've never found anything like that, that had any value, besides, sand will not go threw it very fast (that's what''s wrong with french fry baskets.) Instead I'll choose plumber's cloth that will just capture a dime in any direction. Dry and even moist sand will go threw it super fast. There you go, simple and fast and hard to beat! Hell, I'm proud
