found a little time today in the middle of too much work, moving to a new house and all the other things everyday life piles up.
I went to the little school behind my house for about an hour and managed a couple of bucks in clad and the usual school junk.

It was awesome.

Man is the date on your camera wrong! Glad you enjoyed your day. What's with the nice clean backdrop for your coins?

Chris

:usaflag:Nice finds dahut !! I always try to have a clean backround so the coins stand out in the picture. Was thinking of trying hydrogen peroxide to clean my clad. Does anyone else use that stuff?

Its always good to addcontrast by using a monotone backdrop. I just happended to have a manilla folder handy.
I know of a guy who uses the same paper towel, year after year, as a backdrop for his pictures. He's doing great work for the environment!

I love school yards. Last Friday and today I spent a total of about 3 hours in a school playground (wood chips) and found 46 coins, a necklace, three charms and only ONE pull tab. Life is good without pull tabs. That's why I love schools.

There is something to be said about that. I think I found two pulltabs the whole time I was there, myself.
The foil will kill you, but most detectors have their own way of reacting to foil. Once you learn that, it becomes better.
