So you guys up and down the east coast, what are your sand conditions compared to say 1 month ago? Are you more sanded in or less sanded in or not sanded in at all?? Thanks very kindly for your input. Bootyhunter

Well 108 views, apparently from no one on the east coast. Thanks for all the helpful information everybody.

Bummer no one is on the East Coast. My west coast beach is down nicely, but seems to be sanding up again.
Sorry no one hunts the other coast.

Yeah really! I guess i will take this as "down to bedrock so were all out picking up eyeballed finds!!!!" Thanks for your reply though but it would have to be down to bedrock before I could come to your coast to hunt, lol! Thanks again!

I'm new to beach hunting but everyone here in VA Beach say it's sanded in. I lost a boot a while ago in the surf... just sunk right in. GravediggerMax says it's "bleak", not much gold being found and only a little clad. The occasional cell phone is appearing though.

I would have replied sooner but... I'm still learning. We do need a good storm to get the sand outta here...

Good Luck and HH!

OK thanks for the info, thats exactly the kind of feedback I was looking for, thanks again.

I hunted the Duck NC area a couple weeks ago and it was pretty sanded in. Found some clad and that was about it. Some of the guys that we hunt with down there said that the only place that was producing was up the beach toward the VA state line. Really need a good storm to pull some of the sand off the beaches.

Sanded in from Melbourne Beach to Fort Pierce inlet. But we do have Spring Break kicking in.
Might be some good surface targets over the next two weeks. Not counting the beer cans and bottle caps.
