Took my friend Kevin to one of my special permission beaches today. He is just getting back into diving and bought a Tesoro Stingray. Not even 10 minutes into the dive I found the small 10K gold ring. It HAD a stone in it when I found it, I guess it didn't want to stay. Only 1.93 grams at 40.00 but a keeper. The men's band is 14K and 5 grams. The last two rings were gold plated. The one on the right is old and gold plated silver, the one with the two pearls says 10K gold filled. LOL a teaser. I thought I had 3 gold till I got home and looked at it with the loop. The large brass bell has a huge hole in it. Another bullet from 1882 and 4 wheats oldest is 1920. Kevin got a super old wood fishing lure with glass eyes and a brass tail that wiggled. A super nice old lure. The other bullet is a STRANGE rim-fire bullet with 3 indentations in it where it tried to be fired.

Brass bracelet says Rachelle on it and part of another pocket watch. Pile of old keys, another pocket knife and some new change were about all my interesting finds. This lake is really warming up and is super clear. Hope to pull some more interesting items out of it before all the boaters dirty the water. Enjoy the pics.

Some really cool finds, even if some turned out to be plated!

My finds diving with SD, Old Garrett fishing lure pat. date 9-7-20, 1942 TW (Twin City) Bullet, Vintage embossed Goebels beer bottle.

I found the lure in about 8 inches of silt, I believe the heavy paint and the mucky silt bed protected it. I t is a Chub's Wag Tail lure made in Garrett Ind. (Just wanted to correct the above statement.

Another great day detecting, congrats!

You guys did great! Some of that stuff may not have a lot of value, but it is interesting nonetheless. That rimfire bullet may be a .32 Long Rifle, or a .38 Long. Can't quite tell the diameter just looking at it. Very likely it is pre-WWI.
