same problem again

DEAR : I have same problem again , when I find any target then i start to make a hole like 7 or 10 cm then i try to find the targetby mmachine and it's already go outside the hole left or right so have no any signal come to me from the machine only i have a little sound let me guess it here then I use my garrett at pro pointer , im try to use all metal mode and 2 tone and also 3 tone but still same the problem so can you tell me why sometimes have sound when I make hole and sometimes no , i think the Makro Racer have some trouble with the target . No i can be sure the Makro Racer program is not like what I want because I did everything in beach and desert and dry sand with all modes in 1 target but the problem still .. ??? Sad feeling with my machine if it will still until tomorrow i will sell it .

I used my Racer today and it did the same thing. I think it is that the target is very deep. I just quit digging, and go on. Hope that is all that it is.
