Hit a 1943 war nickel a 1942 Washington and a 1905 Indian ad 13 wheats and a silver ring and a couple bucks in clad it was tough digging in the frozen ground but worth it,

Congratulations on some great finds!

It sounds like that park might be in an older neighborhood. If so, you might also want to check the curb strips between the sidewalks and streets. Could be a lot of good stuff there too.

Cheers,

Joe

Thanks Joe Unfortunately there are no curb strips in this park but it’s old and this was a whaling town so it dates 1700’s parking lot is full of dug up dirt from somewhere in town I’ll be hitting that to..

Yes the small ones are I believe trolley or bus tokens..

I’m glad someone out there has found something lately. The posts are few and far between. Nice going, finding a park with anything good left in it seems rare. Go ahead and clean that one out too.

Thanks I think the past 3 trips there have given up 19 silvers over 50 wheats 1 Indian I was told an old timer said the park was loaded with silver in the 70’s and 80’s
I guess no parks ever hunted out

Same park with two barber spills last week.

That's some good hunting there Mark! That park has been very good to you. Of course you earn all of your finds digging in the cold and frozen north! Keep up the good work, warm weather is around the corner! Best of luck and...
