Same park.....1946 Roosevelt dime.

Went hunting this afternoon with a couple of friends at that same park. They call the park Baseball City because it's near so many little league baseball fields.
Of course that is not it's real name. Any way we hunted for a couple of hours. We all found a few wheaties. No silver though. My friends called it a day after about
2 hours and went to get something to eat. I said I was gonna keep at it for a bit more and bid them farewell. They wished me luck and left. So I kept swinging,
going towards my car, intending to leave when I got near it. I dug so many good signals, but all were clad. I was getting pooped out and was just about to quit.
I got a nice signal. This was no iffy though. It was a 12-44 and consistnent. I said to myself this the last dig before I leave. Dug a small plug because the E-Trac
showed it was not that deep. Put the probe in and bingo ! ! There was silver. It was full of mud so I got the water bottle to clean it. 1946 plain Roosevelt dime.
Freaked me out. Last dig and it was silver ! I don't find a lot of silver coins, but even one, every few days keeps me going.
Attached is the front and back pics of it.

Thanks for reading and HH to you all.

Dan.

It's nice to get silver going to the car. It must have been hard to keep going? Good going Dan, Craig.

Good shape too, Dan! Thanks for the story and the picture and congratulations!
