Same as Gregg Learning the SE

Got in a 1-HR hunt today, could only find a couple spots to hunt in as most was still knee deep snow or ankle deep water and mud

Both spots were only about 6 X 8 ft. This is only my 2nd hunt with my SE and must state some machine.

Recovery was super fast Null back to TH, target separation was great with the 4.5

Gary I have just been using digital till I learn all the tones... I am going to try some new spots next week should be interesting!

Gary, great to see you got out in the open ! Seems like you're getting along fine with your SE ... :detecting:

Bring on the new huntin' season....:bouncy:

Thanks SNOWY yep bring on the good weather!!

Gregg I only have about 2 Hrs on my SE, so hunting in factory pre-set coins with jewelry tick on. Been switching back and forth with Smartscreen then digital to check the read out.

Must say I sure like what I have seen so far with the SE. Just waiting on that good weather to come in, have rain for most of this week coming in states the weather CH.

Good Hunting!!

I always use the digital, along with tones of course. I never cared for the smart screen. I like the dual reading of the numbers and it has never let me down. Everyone has a personal preference.
It sure seems like a great detector...first day the tones bothered me...now I like them...:clapping:

Good Hunting!!

If Minelab could solve that--have the same frustration with the Sov--I'd be in heaven.
