Can anyone suggest a realatively inexpensive machine that hunts well in saltwater? I have a Garrett GTI 1500 & a QDII and with other accessories I have quite a bit sunk into these machines. I don't want to ruin them by using them in the water but would like to hunt along the beach and in the water sometimes. I don't want to pay a thousand dollars just for a now & then beach machine.
 
You can pick up a SeaHunter Mark II for $500-600 They work well and it's a PI machine which is what you want in the water
