Saltwater finds from the weekend.

Everything is uncleaned, as is when found. In the center of the seashell is a 1945 winged liberty head dime. The 14K white gold ring weighs exactly 1 dwt . I spent time working the sensitivity and found when the waves are flat I was able to move it out of auto and run it close to 12 O'clock. I'm finding big mineral variances in the New England beaches I hunt. A more consistent bottom / minerals allows for a manual setting if the waves aren't causing falsing. I really have taken to the Excalibur and my PI and CZ 21 haven't even gotten wet this year. Last fall I was using the Excalibur for the first time, I was in a lake and was heavily impressed by the performance. Now finally working it in the ocean I wish I bought one 10 years ago. I was always skeptical of the build quality. Now my only negative comments are re the cheap headphones sometimes cutting in an out in one ear cup and that a straight shaft is the only way to go. Fortunately mine came with a straight carbon fiber set up.
