Saltwater Coil for Ex2?

Steelhead

Member
Can anyone recommend a good saltwater coil for the Ex2?

I have the 15" Coiltek WOT on my Excal. I have had good luck with it in salt water, and i like it. Some like it and some don`t. There are pro`s and con`s to any coil. The WOT goes deep, and covers alot of ground. It is more difficult to use in rough surf and is heavier. One man`s opinion. Good luck on your search !!! Scotto

I'm only looking to detect the wet sand and dry stuff, but want one that won't be falsing on me the entire time.

Thanks for the reply.

Sorry about that, i'm talking about the Explorer 2. Mostly for dry areas and some we sand at the waterline.

The sef 15x12 works great and if thats too heavy the 10x12, both worked better than the wot 15" for me
