SaltWater Beach Detector-Non Submersible

Hello everyone-

It's been awhile since I've done any metal detecting so a few things have changed. Here's my question. I know without question that the latest version of the Explorer would be a great saltwater beach detector. Also-in the past a CZ3D-CZ5 or CZ6 I would consider a very good saltwater beach as well as the Minelab Sovereign. I have owned all except the newest Explorer.

If I didn't buy the latest incarnation of an Explorer-what else would anyone recommend to an experienced beach hunter? I'm am very unhappy with what's happened to Fisher but.... Any others?- Thanks in advance

I too like the Explorer SE on the beach

the Sovereign GT and S12 coil is the best combo iv ever used on the beach, and iv had them all!

I also vote for the GT , you can hip mount it so it will be lighter to swing , and it goes DEEP ! !
