Has anybody used the X-terra 70 in the wet sand at the beach ( east coast ) . How well does it work good or bad . Thanks for any info you can offer .

I'm kinda curious too. Planning some trips to the beach (Ocean Shores, Longbeach) here in Washington State, and was wondering If anyone had been to these beaches. Are all beaches pretty much the same regarding detecting technique and settings, or will you find different conditions at different beaches?

Beaches are as different as land locations. In the FAQFAQ at the top of the page is a wealth of info on Saltwater use of the X-Terra's.

Ahh, thanks BarnacleBill. I went back into FAQ and saw what you were referring to. I had previously skipped right past the saltwater part and went right to the -70 area. Great info there... thanks.
