GOT 1936 CLASS RING GOLD, 14K ROPE CHAIN, 14K NUGGET PENDENT, FEW SILVER JEWLERY ITEMS MERCS,BARBERS,SEATED,BUFFS,AND NEWER SILVER COIN PLUS CLAD!!!I THINK MY FIRST RING PAYED FOR MY DETECTOR! I JUST BOUGHT IT 3 HRS BEFORE THE HUNT!! CLASSIC III IN NEED OF SOME WORK. WHEN ITS FIXED WILL SAVE IT FOR THE FIELDS/WOODS.WILL HAVE PHOTOS SOON!!
 
THE NEW DETECTOR IS COOL!!HEY RUB IT IN?YOU AND METALDIG HAVE BEEN WAVING THE GOLD IN FRONT OF MY NOSE LATELY!!WAS IT NOT YOU THAT PULLED THE WHAT 200 YR OLD RING OUT OF ELLIOTS!! WHAT 22K 3/4 OZ? HEY HH SEE YA TONIGHT!!!

Hey George! Glad to hear you got a chance to get out and hunt yesterday. Got first gold last night... only 10K- but it's a huge mans pinky ring with what looks like a diamond in the middle. The ring has some heft to it!
Lots of beat up old silver too! Mercury dimes and stuff. Do they all come out like that?

Hope to see you guys out hunting soon!
 
You can smell the gold and it is a shame things are sanding in fast! Everyone with a detector I ran into had a big smile on their faces after this storm.
I hope everyone made out well these last couple of days and found lots of gold. You know me... if I had a great hunt then I'm sure you guys did a whole lot better!

Lots of firsts for me (Gold Ring, Barber Dime etc.), I have to thank you guys and especially Ron B. for sharing his wisdom otherwise I would have thrown my detector in the ocean a couple of months ago!
Heading out to hunt some fields with Ron this weekend. We did our homework and now we have to see if it pays off.

The beaches in So. Maine have been buried....gonna have to wait for the next storm or next minus tide I guess. On the other hand......the tourists have arrived....
