Leaving to go on a cruise Tues. I was wondering If anyone has hunted in Saint Thomas? Were going to spend the day at Meagans Bay I heard it is one of the best beaches in the world.

I was on a cruise also last September. Went to Megan's Bay, was kicked out no detecting.
The big sign at entrance to beach says, true enough, no metal detecting between 8am -5PM..or something like that.

Bermuda is the same way during peak tourist season. No hunting allowed between 10 to 6 while the lifeguards are there from April to October. No walking your dog on the beach during that time either. I haven't had a problem because I hunt around that period and I stay in the water. I make a point of not crowding the tourists and the lifeguards leave me alone, courtesy pays dividends.

Cheers,
