Saint Christopher & Coin Spills

Sooper Dave

Well-known member
Hunted around an old school that I had some luck at a few weeks ago. Didn't find much but got a Rosie and a large sterling St.Christopher pandant that's engraved "Love Lorinda" on the back. Hit another old school with my lil girl last week and hunted slow on the old ball field. The first signal we got was a good one and as we flipped the plug we saw a Merc with a little green spot on it. I told my daughter there's something else with it and sure enough it was a Washington. She was excited about that coin spill. We went on to dig another Washington, a Merc and a Rosie. We also dug a few wheaties and even got three stuck together in one hole. When we cleaned them up it turned out to be two wheats and an Indian but they're super crusty I guess from the fertilizer they spread on the field. We've had a lot of rain and pretty mild temps making for some nice digging. Can't wait for the time change so I can hunt after work some. HH David

Love seeing all the silver - especially "coin trysts" where two or more have been together without anyone knowing for so many years!

You have found more than I have in fours years, nice hunt man.

Killer finds Dave - congrats !
