Good idea that bag there for a float sifter bottom.

Did a little searching and it looks like the Chesapeake Bay Foundation has a web page that list some sources for the "grow out" bags. Different mesh sizes are available. Range from $5 to $10 per bag and you do not need to buy a minimum. Many of the sources are in the Virginia Beach area.

If the link doesn't get hammered:

Got a short Video on the making, one with the pvc other with the noodles. Got to have to when friends come into town...

OBN,
Nice looking sifters!

I had found a lot of mesh with minimum buys in the hundred dollar and up range ... until I saw Max's post and changed the search terms to aquaculture, oysters and clams ... and not just plastic mesh. That made all the difference.

If you still have some of the mesh come say, early April, I'll buy some from you. I have not made a sifter yet; still just shaking out the scoop.

I had to fire up the snow blower to cut a path to the oil tank so I could get an oil delivery. Wish this darn snow would melt.Since I'm a few hours from the beach, I could sure use some dirt fishing to recover a little bit of sanity.
Cheers,
tvr
