Sorry guy's but I had to sell the safari,have to have shoulder repair and I am afarid it might be a little heavy. Any way if anyone is needing Andy's book I have one ,let me know.

Sorry to hear that. You might want to look into a harness system for your next machine.
 
I hope your shoulder is successfully fixed and yes, a shoulder harness would be the way to go! I hope you got a good price for your Safari!
 
Yes, still will stop once in a while. Got two Tesoros and a pin pointer.Safari is still a great detector.

Do you have a Silver uMax? Thats a nice light, and very efficent Tesoro machine. Couldn't say that I would choose it over the Safari, but, when my Safari went in for repair, and my neighbor lost his keys in a hay field that he was baling this past summer, the uMax was a winner.

I have an Xterra 705, but the uMax was already bunking in the truck and handy when he called.

Lots of people swear by those harness systems, Swingy Thingy, etc. and then, some have made their own with a bungee cord and a shoulder bag, camera bag type strap.
