safari setting question

Is it better for finding gold to use conductive or ferrous. Also what do you recommend as your settings for rings and jewelery. Anyone who finds or hunts for gold that can help thanks I use all metal with factory settings

I'm new at this and I am looking for the same things you are!

I am now starting to use the all metal mode. I think the best way is to dig all the
repeatable signals except those that come in the iron range.

Some have said it best to use high trash and manual sensitivity. I'll let you know how
that works. If anyone has other ideas ....."chime in" !!

I've had very good luck on the beach and shallow water in ALL METAL ferrous mode with sensitivity set at 10. owned the safari for 2.5 months..so I'm no expert to say the least..I've got alot to learn
