Safari first day

Hit a park today and was pretty impressed with the safari, 1901 Indian Head, 1918 Wheat,1944 wheat and a silver ring. Good amount of clad.

Ran the stock coin program, work great in trash. the 1918 was about 6-7 inches for my deepest today.

Pulled alot of old bottlecaps that sounded good to me but i need to get use to these sounds, Use to the mxt,,

Nice coins.

Did you hit this place before?

Surprised, though, about the bottle caps. True, with the Quattro, they also give a good signal, but the high pitch plus the TID oscillating between -1 and +18 makes them quite easy to recognise. At least on the beach.

How do they read on the safari?

Some of the caps were reading near the penny range and some were reading in the nickel range but sliding alittle (one or two numbers off).. These were old and corroded.

I just have to get use to this machine and how she talks to me hehe..

First time at this park but its been hit, I saw fresh cut holes. whoever it was did a good job filling them in.
