Standard pro coil,12x10sef or the 15x12 sef? which one please?

the standard pro coil is an excellent coil to use... goes very deep, pinpoints good, and the weight is very manageable.....only thing i did was get a smaller coil for very trashy areas..

I only have the 11" stock coil as the larger coil, I don't know too much of the others. I would think the 15x12 would add more weight and the 12x10 would not be any better than the stock coil in My opinion. My other coil that I use is the 6x8 sef,
which is excellent in high iron areas and lighter to swing. I would suggest try a smaller coil, like the 6x8, at first, it separates targets very well.

Gaz: If separation ability is more important, then go with the 11" DD Pro coil which is excellent in that department. If depth is more important such as in beach or relic hunting, then the 15x12" sef coil might best serve you.
