First off I know this is pointless because the ground affects these numbers. Being yesterday was 50 degrees and today is 20 and way to cold to go out. I decided to play with my new detector. I could not find anyone that posted anything like this and I hope it helps someone out there.

Settings on the machine was coin mode and high trash I tested it with low trash and the numbers did not change. so here is my little test

Sensitivity settings auto, 10, 15, 17, 18

Auto 10 15 17 18
Quarter 6.5 6.5 7.5 9 11
Dime 5 6 7 7.5 8.5
Nickel 5.5 6 7 7.5 7.5
Penny 6 6 7.5 7.5 8
Men Tungsten ring 7 8 10 11 12.5
Ladies Silver ring 6 6 7 7.5 8
Pull Tab 7 6 7 7.5 7.5
New pop tab 6 6 7 7.5 7.5

I think its reading that gold ring on your finger. Those numbers aren't even close to the real world.
