.. 'cause I tell ya, with the Xterra70, unless Garrett comes out with something soon... they will lose a lot of sales (including mine). I say this 'cause I prospect a lot and the X70 seems to be the detectoer Whites should have produced to replace the MXT. I had found over $4000 in nuggets with my (sold) MXT and am now looking for a replacement. Was hoping Garrett would come out with a (modern) VLF gold detector worthy of the name. Sad to say, such doesn't seem to be the case.... unless somebody knows something that I don't. I'd also think that, given the Ace250 as an example, Garrett should be able to come out with one at a better price point than the X70. As an aside, this isn't a gratuitous driveby attack on Garrett, I have an Infinium and had others, just stating the facts. The Scorpion Gold Stinger is an anachronism in today's ground tracking, ID'ing, higher sensitivity nugget/coin machine market. Anyway, trying to get some feedback before I buy. ....Willy. BTW, my nuggethunting starts in about a month and if Garrett doesn't have anything competitive out I, hate to say it, will probably going with ML.
