I detected around an old burnt down house by a dairy. By one of the out buildings I found this old buckle. It hit like a sledge hammer on the last notch to the right. I thought maybe I had found a cache. It looks to have been silver plate at one time. No inscription on it. It was so muddy from the rain I was about a foot taller when I was done from the mud stuck on my shoes. I was hoping to find one last silver coin for the year. The years not over yet I also hunted 2 parks and found 88 coins for $8.59
