Saddle Shield? and ANOTHER ROYAL REGIMENT BUTTON!

I went back and dug a matching Royal Regiment of Artillery button today. This one is totally intact and has the full shank. I can only make out the word "LONDON" on the back mark. I also dug this old lock. I don't know much about it, but it appears to have been attached to something iron. I did soething stupid. I tried to straighten it out, and it broke. Any help with the ID is appreciated!

Not too far away I dug what appears to be a saddle shield, but it has a single pin in the center. Can someone help with the ID on this?

it looks like a nice saddle shield to me, neil, and about from the same time period as the buttons are. great finds! hit it hard! hh!
