Sad season ending :sadwalk:

Wishful-thinker

Got home from work the 16th of April, with thoughts of getting one last hunt in ..before the southern heat took over..
Woke up the 17th ,worked on my quad, and was "test driving" it and turned a right corner too sharp...
It tipped over and the roll cage broke my left ankle. :stretcher: 7 days later got me a titanium rod from my knee to my
ankle and plenty of pain ,and time to think of what i could have found.. Until now i was Superman, never having a broken bone.

Be careful Guys. it only takes a second to mess up some good plans, and loose your independance.

So sorry to hear that! Being in the medical field for 40 years I am confident it will heal quickly and you'll be doing a gig with your detector in the near future.

Sorry about the accident, Wishful. :( Amazing how many things can get in the way of metal detecting. Sure hope you recover quickly and the pain eases up soon too!

Bummer! Just curious...what TID does a titanium rod make if you pass the coil over it? I'm sure you tried it!:lmfao: Get well soon! time and Gold wait for nobody in particular!:please:
