If I remember right I have to say YES they did!!!
I thinks there's a + right now in the Pawn shop
here by me. Older machines that work!!! Tesoro's
are great little units in my book.My favorite though
is the Eldo. Micro-Max.followed by my Silver Sabre
Micro-Max w/red pinpoint button. Another good one...

Did Tesoro make a royal sabre and a royal sabre plus.....?

I only see a Royal Saber Plus manual on Tesoro's website.

Then again, here's a pic of the Royal Saber

... No, they didn't.

I was a Tesoro Dealer before the Royal Sabre was introduced and I handled many of them. Never saw a 'Plus' version in those earlier days.

They did then come out with a Golden Sabre, and at a later date released an 'improved' Golden sabre Plus at 15 kHz that had the dual-tone audio notch function like the Royal Sabre. They also sort of upgraded the original Silver Sabre with a Silver Sabre Plus model, but it had glitches and lasted a much shorter time.

Yes, I saw the listing of the Royal Sabre Plus manual, etc., but I believe that was attributed to some 'Ooops!' moments by either the older brother or some other proof reader such as the glitch in the Owner's Manual that had 'Plus' added to the name in a place or two but not consistently. I questioned this error in the Owner's Manual, wondering if a new model was on the horizon, and it was explained to be an editing oversight.

I never saw a Royal Sabre other than the original, and there wasn't a 'Plus' version to my knowledge.
