WOW !!! I'm really impressed went to the beach twice today because I couldn't believe how great it was. I was digging everything...man O Man does it cut through the sand like butter and deep deep deep. I love it. Dry sand , wet sand, in the water. This is the way to go if you have the money. If not make sure you save up for one. If you work the beach it will down right impress you and the people at Sunspot were great too ! I saved up for mine !!!!

My sentiments exactly!! It's my first serious scoop and I haven't used it yet. I 'm kind of intimidated by it. Did you tie it to you and did you find it heavy?
 
NO I didn't tie it to me, no need to just put it on your shoulder or drag it behind you. I also have a six inch scoop with SS tip and it's heavier. You will love it but only if you used something else first.
 
I was going to buy one too by the time I had my money they didn't have any ready to ship because they were working in some issues with the scoop. So I got the T-rex instead and I glad I did just on time before our weather changed. The only thing I didn't like from the 720 were the holes were too big but I was going to put a mesh to try to catch the small items.great to hear that you like it HH
 
They are both a big step up from what I was using. Good luck looks like a keeper

I like the 720 alot, 15 inchs long will get deep. The only issue I might see is the total price and the weight...how much was all n the full weight? If I did not have several scoops I would swing one....Congrads on the New addition :thumbup:
 
OK!! I used it for the first time today. It sure does dig deep. Had to really pull to get the full scoop. Rotator cuff??? I can see that in the water it will be great. In dry sand it may be overkill.
 
Hey I found on the wet/dry sand you can cut into the width of the whole without the scoop rolling on you and pulling your testicles out. Cuts the sides real nice and clean. Pleasure to use without hurting yourself if you know what I mean. Very stable on all cuts..Now I stick it into the sand because of the pointed tip and then pick my target up. Nice !!

I got mine this past week and tried it out today, all I can say is WOW!!! It's a killer scoop. It's a lot lighter than I had expected and balances PERFECTLY.
