HI Just thought i would send a few pics of my SEF coil with ACRYLIC bottom on it. To start with i hate the weight of the minelabs and do not want the coils with spokes in them because they catch on everything forcing you to hold the whole weight of the detector off the ground and that equals sore arm big time. Had the sun ray white coil and with that coil you just let it rest on the ground and swing all day. Well i tried the new SEF coil and find it as good for depth as the sun ray coil. Just bought a small sheet of OPTIX ACRYLIC .080 thick and a small tube of LEXAN translucent adhesion silicone traced the coil cut the sheet and glued on. That SEF coil is a winner for sure can not wait to get out again. Harry
