I bought a nice Conquistador

Steve, I have had the same experience a few times now dealing with the wonderful folks at Tesoro.

It just amazes me how well they threat their customers. Everyone who picks up the phone at Tesoro is pleasant, friendly and super helpful.

To top it all off, Tesoro makes the best detector for the money. Period

That's why it pleases me so much to recommend a Tesoro detector to someone just starting out.

I couldn't agree with you more Steve. Rusty is one of the main reasons I continue to buy Tesoro products.

Rusty also has a Tesoro store. I bought my Vaquero from him. I talked to him prior to my purchase and told him my idea of what I would be using it for. He was familiar with the area I live in and suggested the Vaquero, which through the information I had received from this forum was my first choice anyway. I could have saved a couple dollars elsewhere, but now I do not have a problem with calling and/or emailing him with questions or just a simple hello. The contact I have had with him more than makes up for any $ I could have saved and is PRICELESS!!

I found his prices to be just as low as the others. Rusty was the one who suggested that I should get the 5.75 coil. Boy he was right about that. He's a super nice person to do business with and is fun to talk with.

He also suggested the same thing to me. I am still learning the Vaquero with the stock coil plus I purchased my detector around the holidays and just haven't found the money yet.............from what I have read here it increases the finds.

I talked to him yesterday and although he was busy, he took the time to talk. One of the nicest guys you could meet.

That's correct. It can't be beat in trashy places. It separates well and unmasks those hidden treasures. What's so amazing, it's nearly as deep as the larger stock coil and a lot lighter. That's one coil that will pay for itself.
