rusty bottle caps :stars:

can anyone tell me if the 5.3 eclipse coil will get rid of the rusty bottle caps
im useing a mxt with the 6 x 10 dd & the rusty bottle caps are driveing me crazy on my beaches..
there everywhere.....................................
i havent been able to try a concentric coil yet to see if it solves the problem
ive tryed edgeing but its a pain so many caps...

I can't give you an actual MXT experience, but on the DFX and V3, the DD type loops really like the bottle caps and they sound like quarters. The conical loops tend to break up the bottlecaps enough that you can tell they are more likely not what you want. ( A trashier signal).

I use the 9 1/2" and 5.3" often. I can't remember when I picked up a bottle cap last. Good luck and thanks for cleaning those beaches! HH, Nancy

Nancy, on rusty bottle caps while using the small 5.3 coil do you get a null then a trashy sound or what?
