The best coil for any detector is the one designed and tuned for it. Even the after market coils are tuned for their designated machines. If you change coils to a different coil from a different detector, it might work, but the ID will probably be way off. And, under certain circumstances, it might go deeper. So now you will probably have to dig all targets to see what they are. If it's only depth you are after, buy a PI.
