The bch was eroded and covered with seaweed, four hours produced eighty cents and two full pockets of pulltabs, poptops, and bottle caps. The water had a ton of aluminium foil paper along with debris and seaweed. I want to try to get to the gulf tomorrow, no golden tickets or any kind of jewelry.

I've been checking out the beach the last 2 days, not MDing, just observing. Alot of the light material as you mention has been deposited way up on the beach. The beach is bigger at high tide and seems all even.......no uneven or indented areas along the shore line. The tides are still big ,even at low tide...water is dirty, cool, and brown from all the rain.......A family of 5 was taken by rip currents from the sand bar at St.Pete,Bch this afternoon.....maybe Thursday will be open to water hunts, but take no chances and be careful...Good Luck HH bob.oz

Bahia, but I go to both, have we ever crossed paths?, ive met a couple guys that hunt their as well, plus alot of times I get their and scoup holes havent been filled in from tide change, ive been huntin those two about five yrs, mostly cause price of gas and tolls I dont cross the bridge, I used to take my boat to beer can island but dont have it anymore. someone told me his grnd parents use to go their when they were young. Ive never found anything old their, but ive found a cross that says im catholic on the back dated 1923 not gold, a class ring I couldnt find the person its dated 1972, I think east bay high, a gold ring with a 1965 wedding date on it they look like they could have been their a long time but who knows, I havent really found much gold their these past five yrs but enough to give me gold fever. I always say people dont wear gold their only tattoos. I use to hunt their with two PI's ive owned so I picked up alot of iron mostly nails, no relics to talk about, now I use my excal & at pro. For two small bay bchs their nice to go to. HH poptop

Actually the other day was the first time in the water at Simmons so someone else must be hunting it too. I found a junker kids ring, set of keys and a watch that appeared to be there for a while.
