Running at full bore with the 17 incher pays off

I went out today to the site that I dug my 1793 Liberty Cap Cent. I went to the area that I call Button Hill because I've pulled so many buttons out of there. I have crisscrossed Button Hill many times with the stock coil of the CTX and more so with the E Trac and Explorer. It was a chatterbox running at 29 and 30 sensitivity, but I ended up pulling six more buttons out of there. I even recovered a draped bust that was at 4 inches in a place I must have missed.

Yes Gary. Very nice

Nice gkman! I also have dug a button that looks very similar in six to the largest one you found. Any idea of the age? I've read that size was popular in the mid-1700s. But I'm no expert. Btw loved the vids

Very Nice! That is awesome to pull out some goodies from a ...ahem..."hunted hard spot"!

I don't completely attribute the finds yesterday to just the CTX. Four of the buttons I found under partially fallen tree. The other two were near tree trunks. Only a couple of the signals were clear the rest were choppy.
the draped bust was crystal clear. I guess I never walked that way with the coil at the ground
