I'm tired.
I felt like I was running a marathon through the woods today. It included dragging myself up cliffs and then sliding back down again like I was wearing skis, balancing across logs over streams, and jogging through the woods following the stone walls.
It paid off. I made it out of there with three buckles and three buttons, and a King George
II coin.
All except the one non-descript button where found on the way out of the woods. I was following the stone walls back towards my suv when I found the KG. Thinking something more may be in the area I went up a small outcropping and noticed a small depression in the earth at the base of the outcropping. I quickly found the other items and then had to get home to get to work.
My body, and especially my legs are sore, but I have a nice sense of accomplishment.
Update Button backmark (one with gilt) is
