I decided to hit the beach this morning before work, I was debating which detector to use and I picked up the Excal but then went with the PI even though I was going to hunt the wet sand... I'm sure either or would have found the ring but I went with my favorite detector

Stopped at the jewelry store... stone is good and setting is 18k

I asked the same thing and the jeweler said no... Out in the sun it sparkles but I can't take a picture to save my life..GH the stone is filthy on the inside and I have to try and somehow clean the encrusted mud off from in there.. I have to see if I can find my ultrasonic cleaner.. maybe I can stick a toothbrush in there after work..

I hate my camera everything comes out dark even with the flash..

My sister wants my ring and I told her no way she has taken enough of my finds...

Here is picture from behind and you can see the pinks coming out.

Do you guys have a place down there that gives you decent money for good finds or how do you sell them?

I have 98% of my gold ..the only thing I have sold is 2 wedding bands to friends getting married and gold rings that are broken into pieces and the silver that turns to silver sulfide.. I like playing with my gold :)

I'm pretty sure that it is bad for them and may damage the stone. A toothbrush would be much safer. That's one honking ruby.
SPECTACULAR!!
