Rubber Washers for lower shaft

Where can I buy the rubber washers that fit between the coil and the lower shaft on my Excal 1000 and how much do they cost? Thanks in advance for your time.

These I beleive are the same as the Sovereigns use, they are tear drop washers and I have some new ones of these around here in my parts box if you need a set.

I switched my lower rod to a Whites with double washers after i told ML i was getting wear on my coil. They said i hunt to much and it was my fault.... and you are REQUIRED to remove the coil from the lower rod after EVERY hunt or you pay for any coil damage. You have 1/16th rubber out of the lower rod once its tightened down it immediately starts wearing the rod... and the coil. Another Xcal flaw you pay for. I dont believe Anderson or Whites uses carbon fiber heads on their lower rods.

Very interesting Dew. Will the Whites lower shafts fit on the upper Excall shaft and also on the coil, without any problem?

I sent you 2 complete sets instead of one in a reg envelope so you should see them first part of the week with a little luck. There is No Charge for these and maybe someday you can help someone out too.

I have my 8" coil on a White's lower rod ( because I had an extra one ) and used the extra washers and it works fine. I have all my spare coils on separate rods...a little pricey but very efficient.

If you go to a Whites lower rod, head up the home improvement store and pick up a pack of faucet washers. Very cheap and you'll get like 10. Just take the shaft with you so you find ones the right diamater. Glue the four you'll need into two pairs of two for ease in install. Drill the hole out in the middle of the washers to fit the bolt through. I think they sell both silicone or rubber washers for faucets. Not sure which is best, but I got the silicone type as I think they are less prone to rot.
