RTG scoop question

sufficient enough..... for what? Wet sand, dry, in the water, rocky areas, bays or fresh water bottoms? RTG makes good scoops but some of those bottoms mentioned may be to tuff for it. I see no problem in dry sand use. the bracing is fine its the front of the handle weld you may have the problem with if you put it to heavy duty long hour use out there.

well wet and dry sand on floridas gulf coast im thinkinf i should just get a heavy duty instead of this

That model was my first long handled scoop. I used it mainly in wet sand. It was very light weight and the basket bent out of shape after a few times out. I would go heavy duty.

I have one and my hunting partner has one. Both broke welds within one season but the repairs are better then new. Not for serious hunting unless you plan on a few mods. I extended the nose on mine and reenforced the welds after they broke.

thank you everyone for the heads up saved me some money i will just go ahead and gather funds for a sturdier pro model

i appreciate it everyone
