RTG Scoop or a Fake?

Just picked up an RTG 733 scoop it took twenty days to reach me. I am actually apprehensive that this actually a RTG 733 now with the long delay and all. The
only difference I see is the brace tube in the rear of the scoop is square instead of tubular. Should the RTG have a manufactures sticker on it? From images online this a pretty close likeness but I' m just not convinced! Thanks GeorgeS

I have 2 RTG scoops and the aluminum one I have has a square support and the stainless a round tube. The stainless one was custom ordered directly from RTG as I had some modifications done to it. The aluminum one was purchased used on this site, but they're are definitely both built by the same welder. My new RTG did not come with any stickers, so I don't think that is anything to worry about. Who did you order it from? The delay isn't surprising considering this is prime time for ordering and they are a popular item. Also RTG scoops do not really have have premium cost over other similar scoops, so there isn't really much of a reason to make a knock off RTG scoop and claim that it's genuine.

Thanks, for your reply I appreciate your wisdom, especially this being my first scoop and all. I did my homework and a lot of people seem real pleased with their purchases of the 733 scoop. I' m in Conn. and most of our metal detecting stores are not open because of a lack of hobbiests. It is a difficult thing to find an open store. The particular place I purchased this scoop from had business hours 6;00 to 9:00 p.m.
