Here's a couple places I am researching currently, going in a few weeks. The first pic is the old station as it was.

And here it is today. I took this pic there a while back - didn't have time to check it with the detector at the time.

Here's a late 1800's town - you can see the train in the background and the trestle to the lower left. This place was abandoned in the 1920's. We'll see what's still there - at least in the ground.
There's lots of places yet, be they out west or back east/up north. Check out a few RR books for your area and see what you can find. Steve in so az
