we just took a ride a half mile up the the river to an old cabin on Mikes Mule.
On the way out we saw this Doe. It was hiding in the grass but must have thought I was sorta buck like. I got out of the Mule and iwalked its way and the darned thing started to walk toward me, with its tail up. HOw sweet. !
It started talking to it and it finally too off the the woods

THe cabin is right on Mikes creek. It is in a grove of old cedar trees and the stumps are huge!! As you can see by the picture of Mike standing in front of one. Notice the spring board notches in the tree. I have no clue why they cut the things so high off the ground, unless the wood is no good lower down.
