Hey Monte....better find one of these again! Had it for several years and was out today where you needed a trash pouch WHILE in notch! Got to fooling with the notch and dang! With careful rotation I was able to get the square tab in the nickel zone to break up and the nickels to sound smooth and full. Still had to fool with those screwcaps, but it saved me from digging hundreds of those square tabs and I got a few nickels while doing it. The neat thing was that it was still picking up the foil range and I could've found a ring. Some of the square tabs just barely clicked. Hey Gunnar, it may not be as adjustable as the Golden, but ain't it nice!

Howdy slingshot
I just bought a Pantera a couple of weeks ago and been playing with the notch some. It' a cool detector and quite deep, found a couple of early teens wheat pennys in a yard that produced some fabulous finds in the past. I was'nt bothered by pulltabs in this yard as I had dug everythin that beeped in the previous trips to this place. I do have a specific place to hunt that dates back to 1880,s that is still in use today and this is a place to experiment with the notch setup with the Pantera. The Royal Saber should slay the coins and rings in a setting similar to my spot. Have a good'n....................Hombre
