Got out for a short hunt last night at an unmarked home site. The 1866 Indian with full readable liberty was first out of the gate. The knapsack hook and a few buttons and the lead stylis finished the evening.

The Indians I find are always 1900’s or late 1800’s no real early ones lol got a few real nice looking ones from sandy spots most are beat up.

Nice hunt Jeff. That 1866 Indian is a better year. I have pulled a few 1867s but not an 1866 yet.
The flat buttons and knapsack hook are cool also.

Thanks Dave All of these pieces indicate a very early homestead for my area. I am not sure if the 66 is my first but its my best.
