1918 George V LC. A out of left field surprise coin I dug yesterday on a ballfield at only 4" deep. I thought it was a American clad quarter due to how dark it was and the sun glare without shades. Did not know what I had till I started cleaning it. This means the fill on that part of the field is OLD dirt from somewhere, I'm going back this weekend to grid that part HARD. Hoping for some hot silver tickets and more old pennies, etc. Was in the high 70's on the AT-Pro VDI, also where some American clad quarters ring up too.

Thats a great haul for 10 days! these AtPro's can be thought of as a survival tool...if a guy was living under a bridge, thats enough walking around money for some essentials. Nice work there!
Mud

Nice haul, GC! I like the large pennies & the pin!

Looks like you had a very eventful 10 day Georgia! GL and HH with the next 10 days:bouncy:!

10 days certainly pays! That's a lot of collective loot--your digs really paid off.

Nice finds for that period. Congrats !
