Round 2 of 2010.

Went back to the old school house. Got to meet the owner who is renovating the house. Nice guy, we got to chat for a bout 10 minutes or so. He was just checking if he can do any more work on the house (he couldn't because it is so muddy there). He showed me where the old sidewalk was that he dug up last fall. It is a mud pit there, which is good because I don't have to worry about killing any grass. A lot of heavy machines have been there too, so the ground is also torn up, which is also good. Found my oldest coin and first Indian Head (in the sidewalk spot). Another silver dime, a few wheaties in rough shape and a few memorials. A lot of trash, but I'm sure there's a lot more to be found. Not really sure if the ring is of any value. There are a few markings in the inside, looks like a birds head surrounded by two diamond shapes. Hopefully someone can help me identify if it is of any value. Thanks for looking.

Nice finds. The ring looks to be good quality from the photo but I can't help you on the details. Looks like a good find to me in any case !

I enlarged the picture for a really good look at the hallmarks and they aren't any I know, but they appear to be worthy of investigation!

An educated guess would be 14K or perhaps 18K!

Good luck Fellow Hunter and thanks for the chance to see something I have never seen before!

I look forward to reading future information on the ring!
