Rough Day Ends With a Hart Stopper

I went back to tha site down tha road. I have hunted
this area until it is hard to find a target.

I decided to give one more go with my 12X10 coil on
my Euro Sabre.

This is tha area where most of tha finds have come
from.

I hunted for about 1 1/2 hrous. I was diggin deep
targets.

This brass spark plug washer was 8" to 10" deep!

The only notable find was this old Western cartridge.

I tell ya, tha heavy coil and tha deep holes made me
real tired. I got a snack and went to a small park less
than 1/2 mile from tha site.

It has a small pond and I have found a few things here.

The site I just left is just past tha tree line in tha back
of this photo.

As I was eating my snack and restin, I noticed a line of
huge trees that were never logged...... I could see them
because there are few leaves to block tha view now.

I decided to hunt along that line.

Here's a few of tha trees. This first one is more than 4'
wide.

Bummer!!!!

See tha dark place in tha lower left of tha photos?

That happened between tha time I took that first site
photo and tha pond photo. Now I've wore out my cheep
little camera!!!!

My batteries went dead. It started raining. Man, it was
starting to get hard to have a good time.

There was nothing but shotgun shells and trash in places
where tha park trail got close to tha tree line.

I was about to leave. I was at a spot where people fishing
go to do their business.

As I was hunting through there and I got a good signal.

It was pretty hot.

Then out of tha ground comes this.

That symbol is one of theirs. Now I don't know if the Shriners are related to them.

Here is a link to the Wiki site.

Nice find, I have yet to find gold. I know one of my grandfathers was a freemason, my sister has his certificate.

Addendum: Shriners are part of Masons, or to be a Shriner you are a Mason first.

The ring is a neat find, even if it's not gold. I hit a woodchip tot lot with the Goldtrax Treasure Baron this morning. I ran in all metal mode as usual to get the nails and long wood screws that work out of the equipment and other sharp things that might hurt a child, but a few of those, 5 pennies and the things in the photo were all I got:(.
