I just purchased an underwater metal detector through ebay. I got a cheap model just to get me started, but intend to become more educated and passionate about treasure hunting. I went with the aquavision pro. This will give me an opportunity to get into the lakes & the ocean during the hotter months. I love scavenging and am really enticed by the idea of the hunt. I also like digital photography, mountain biking, and communing with nature, so treasure (or relic) hunting will fit right in with my other interests. I'll be reading the previous posts to get up to speed & learn more about the hobby. Happy hunting!
