my th buddy and I took a friend out today for his first hunt. We used our XLT AND DFX and I loaned the newbie my extra PRIZM IV. WHAT HAPPENS? THE ROOKIE FINDS A 1907 BARBER AND WE FIND NOTHING. HAPPENS EVERTIME YOU INTRODUCE SOMEONE NEW TO THE HOBBY.HE IS NOW HOOKED ON TH'ING.YA SHOULDA SEEN THE SMILE ON HIS FACE.

I did the same thing with a old coin master 4 and i was using the XL PRO. I was finding clads and junk and my newbie found 1933 QUARTER.

it makes you feel even better when that person is a kid. my TH partner's 13 yr. old son went with us and dug a bullet. in the same hole was an indian hide scraper made of flint and about 4 in. long in perfect shape. he hasn't let us live it down yet. this is the future of TH'ing.
YA GOT THAT RIGHT. YESTERDAY I LEFT MY XLT HOME AND TOOK MY DAUGHTERS PRIZM IV TO THE PARK. FELT FUNNY NOT HAVING TO FOOL WITH ALL THE ADJUSTMENTS. ONLY FOUND CLAD AND KEYS BUT I ACTUALLY HAD FUN. KINDA ODD HAVING SOMETHING SO LIGHTWEIGHT TO CARRY AROUND. MEANWHILE BACK TO THE XLT AND GET SERIOUS AGAIN.
