light house stations but I have them on the hard drive, and I've been to all of them. There are all in Groton and New London and one at Watch Hill. Swing your mouse over them and the name should come up.

Highland,Cahoons Hollow, Wood End,and Monomoy Point Life Saving Stations, from 1924 to the mid early forties.Went to Greenland for 6 months,on the Aivik in 1943. Then Constitution Wharf, for a short time. 1946 he was transferred to Winter Island Search & Rescue in Salem Ma. I think the Salem Station, covered part of Rhode Island. Brief statements in his historical records about it.He was also on the Cowslip, out of Portland Me. He mentioned Montauk Point quite a bit,so i am sure he knew the area. Retired in 1951 as CBM. Amazing how many of those Sub Towers still exist. Nahant has two,one in Manchester-by-the-Sea,another was in Hampton N.H. Some in Maine also.

They have a great Woodshole program there that takes the kids out on the draggers getting plankton and other stuff. I really used to like go out when my kids were a part of it. The buildings there are really beautiful, mostly stone work. I have some better pictures of the building in the back. Let me see if I can find it...

Found them. Took these early spring this year when I was down there gathering Geocaches with my GPS. One is right by the light house.
